Wike Described as 'On Loan' to APC by PDP Faction

Nyesom Wike, a prominent member of the People's Democratic Party (PDP), has been referred to as being "on loan" to the All Progressives Congress (APC) by Nentawe Yilwatda, the APC chairman. Wike's involvement with the APC has raised concerns within the PDP, prompting Haruna Jungudo, the national publicity secretary of the PDP faction, to clarify that Wike remains a committed and loyal member of the PDP.

Jungudo emphasized that there are no intentions for a permanent transfer of Wike to the APC, describing the arrangement as a "loan" with no provisions for a permanent deal. The PDP faction firmly stated that they value Wike as a significant political asset and will resist any attempts to acquire him permanently.

They advised against entertaining hopes for a permanent acquisition by the APC, asserting that Wike's political identity and loyalty to the PDP remain intact despite his engagement with the APC-led administration.
