Wike Promises Kuje Community More Development Projects

Nyesom Wike, the Minister of the Federal Capital Territory, pledged to the Kuje community that more projects would be initiated to support President Bola Tinubu's administration. During a visit on February 21, 2026, Wike addressed requests from the newly elected chairman, Haruna Tanko, who emphasized the need for infrastructure improvements, particularly the construction of three key roads to enhance transportation in rural areas.

Wike acknowledged the community's support for Tinubu's leadership and urged the chairman to prioritize listening to the people's demands once he assumes office. The chairman-elect, Danjuma Shekwolo, commended Wike for his support and expressed the community's desire for infrastructural development to boost the local economy.

Wike assured that the requests would be considered, reinforcing the importance of community engagement in governance.
