Oshiomhole Thanks Wike for Support During Isolation

Adam Oshiomhole, the former governor of Edo State, expressed gratitude towards Nyesom Wike, the Minister of the Federal Capital Territory, for his unwavering support during a challenging period of political isolation after Oshiomhole's removal as the national chairman of the All Progressives Congress (APC). Speaking in Benin City, Oshiomhole highlighted that while many party members distanced themselves from him, Wike reached out at a time when others hesitated.

Oshiomhole acknowledged Wike's leadership and political performance, particularly during the recent local government elections in the Federal Capital Territory. He noted that Wike was the first person from the South-South geopolitical zone to visit Abuja after his removal, which he described as a significant gesture.

Oshiomhole concluded by appreciating the friendship and support from Wike, emphasizing the importance of their relationship for the development of Edo State.
