Wike's Faction Takes Control of PDP Secretariat in Abuja

Nyesom Wike's faction has assumed control of the People's Democratic Party (PDP) secretariat located in Abuja, following its reopening on November 18. This development comes after a court ruling on March 9 that favored Wike's camp, nullifying a previous endorsement made at an Ibadan convention on November 16.

The Nigeria Police Force confirmed their involvement in the reopening, highlighting their commitment to upholding the rule of law and constitutional order. The party's National Working Committee, led by Abdulrahman Moha, warned against any actions that could disrupt peace at the secretariat and urged members to conduct themselves within legal bounds.

Wike's leadership was praised for its guidance during this tumultuous period, and the party called for unity among its members to address ongoing challenges.
