PDP NWC Renovates National Secretariat Under Wike's Support

The National Working Committee (NWC) of the People's Democratic Party (PDP), supported by Nyesom Wike, has initiated renovations at the party's national secretariat located at Wadata Plaza. This development follows the recent unsealing of the secretariat by the police, which allowed access after a period of barricading by a faction aligned with Wike.

The renovations began on Sunday, with ongoing work including painting, replacing air conditioning units, changing locks, and reallocating offices for NWC members. However, staff loyal to Tanimu Turaki's faction may face challenges in resuming their duties.

The announcement to reopen the PDP national secretariat was made by the faction's national chairman, Abdulrahman Moha, on Saturday, coinciding with the presidential campaign office at Legacy House, Maitama, Abuja.
