Female Passenger Killed by Truck After Motorcycle Fall

A yet-to-be-identified female passenger was crushed to death by a truck after falling from a motorcycle on the Agbara-Lusada Expressway in the Ado-Odo/Ota Local Government Area of Ogun State. The accident occurred around 7pm on Saturday at Cashier Bus Stop.

Eyewitness Kunle reported that the motorcycle attempted to overtake a white Howo truck with registration number T-34611LA, leading to the woman falling off and being crushed. Babatunde Akinbiyi, spokesperson for the Ogun State Traffic Compliance and Enforcement Agency, confirmed the incident, stating that the crash was caused by the motorcycle rider's wrong overtaking.

Five individuals were involved in the crash, including three males and two females, with two sustaining injuries. The injured were taken to a hospital by a good Samaritan.

The deceased's remains were retrieved by her family, and the truck was moved to police custody for investigation. TRACE operatives and PAPA OSCAR responders attended the scene to restore traffic flow.
