Motorcyclist Dies in Ogun State Lone Crash

A yet-to-be-identified motorcyclist died in a lone crash on Thursday at approximately 6:20 am in front of the Federal Government Girls College along the Iperu-Sagamu Road in Ikenne Local Government Area, Ogun State. Babatunde Akinbiyi, spokesperson for the Ogun State Traffic Compliance and Enforcement Agency, confirmed the incident involved a red Bajaj motorcycle and that it was the only vehicle involved.

The rider, a male, was the sole occupant of the motorcycle, and no other injuries were reported. The presumed dead body was evacuated to Idera Morgue, Tollgate, Sagamu, by TRACE operatives and police, while the motorcycle was taken by the police for further investigation.

Akinbiyi noted that the crash did not disrupt vehicular movement along the route, which remained clear for passage. In the past week, three individuals have reportedly lost their lives in separate accidents across Ogun State.
