Woman and Security Guard Found Dead in Ogun Robbery

On June 21, at approximately 11:20 AM, a woman and a security guard were discovered dead at a residence in Agodo Village, Ogun State, following a suspected robbery. The Ogun State Police Command initiated an investigation after receiving reports from a resident, Joseph Olakitan Oyeshiku, who noticed damage to the front door of the residence.

Upon further inspection, the bodies were found inside the security post, with the guard reportedly suffering multiple injuries believed to have been inflicted during the attack. Preliminary findings indicated that the assailants fled the scene with the victim's Lexus Jeep.

The police, led by the Divisional Police Officer (DPO), conducted an operation at the scene, recovering evidence relevant to the investigation. The deceased were subsequently evacuated to the mortuary at Ijaiy, Abeokuta, for autopsy as police efforts continue to identify and apprehend those responsible for the murders and robbery.
