Nigeria's Women Affairs Minister Advances Economic Inclusion

The Federal Government of Nigeria, represented by the Honourable Minister of Women Affairs and Social Development, Hon. Imaan Sulaiman-Ibrahim, is committed to advancing women's economic empowerment through a partnership with the Presidential Committee on Economic and Financial Inclusion (PreCEFI).

This collaboration, led by Dr. Nurudeen Abubakar Zauro, aims to implement the second edition of the "She’s Included" National Initiative.

This initiative focuses on enhancing women's financial inclusion, entrepreneurship, digital empowerment, and access to finance, aligning with President Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s Renewed Hope Agenda. Hon.

Sulaiman-Ibrahim emphasized the initiative's success and sustainability, noting that it reflects the importance of women's active participation in national development. She also highlighted the Ministry's efforts to reposition women as entrepreneurs and wealth creators, particularly through the Women in Nigeria’s Gas Sector (WINGS) Programme, encouraging women to invest in Nigeria's energy sector.
