Presidency Launches She’sIncluded 2026 Summit for Women

The Presidency has announced a focus on sustainable women’s wealth creation and grassroots economic inclusion, aiming to end reliance on temporary handouts. The Presidential Committee on Economic and Financial Inclusion (PreCEFI), in collaboration with the Federal Ministry of Women Affairs, will host the She’sIncluded 2026 Summit on August 19-20, 2026, at the Banquet Hall of the Presidential Villa in Abuja.

This summit will gather senior government officials, regulators, development partners, financial institutions, private sector leaders, and international stakeholders to develop strategies for expanding economic opportunities for Nigerian women. Dr.

Nurudeen Zauro, Technical Adviser to the President on Economic and Financial Inclusion, stated that the summit will mark a shift from policy discussions to practical implementation, building on the inaugural 2025 edition that resulted in the Aso Accord. The 2026 summit will focus on mobilizing investments and creating pathways for women in finance, entrepreneurship, and employment, aligning with President Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s Renewed Hope Agenda and the goal of building a $1 trillion economy by 2030.
