Bishop Fagbohun Advocates Truth in Media on World Communications Day

During the 2026 World Communications Day celebration in Ado Ekiti, Bishop Oluwaseun Fagbohun of the Old Catholic Apostolic Church called on journalists and professionals across various sectors to uphold truth in their duties for the growth and survival of the nation. He stressed that truth is foundational in rescuing society from moral decay and injustice.

The cleric urged journalists, lawyers, judges, medical practitioners, artisans, and citizens to embrace honesty and integrity, stating that truth should not be compromised under any circumstances. He emphasized the critical role of communication in shaping society and promoting peace and justice.

Bishop Fagbohun appealed to media practitioners to remain committed to ethical journalism and factual reporting despite the challenges they face. He encouraged Nigerians to promote truth in their daily interactions to build a society based on honesty, experience, peace, and unity.
