Portugal's head coach, Roberto Martinez, expressed confidence in his 26-member squad's ability to perform effectively at the 2026 World Cup. He stated that the team possesses the necessary qualities to succeed, despite starting the tournament on an uncertain note with a 1-1 draw against DR Congo.
