Ebonyi State Promotes Adult Education on Literacy Day

On World Literacy Day, Abakaliki Nwagu commended the promotion of adult education in Ebonyi State during an event held in Abakaliki, the state capital. She encouraged adults who lack literacy to enroll in adult education programs, stating that literacy is essential for adapting to technological advancements in society.

Nwagu specifically urged women who have not received formal education to take advantage of the available adult education initiatives. She expressed gratitude towards Governor Nwifuru and his wife for their support in enhancing adult education in the state, which includes providing a conducive learning environment and ensuring the timely payment of teachers.
