Ikeja Electric Marks World Malaria Day with Outreach

On World Malaria Day 2026, Ikeja Electric executed a Corporate Social Responsibility outreach in the Abule Egba and Odogunyan communities of Lagos State. The initiative aimed to raise awareness about malaria and improve access to basic healthcare services for residents.

Participants benefited from free malaria testing and treatment, receiving antimalarial drugs and insecticide-treated mosquito nets, along with educational materials to promote sustainable prevention efforts. Ikeja Electric staff emphasized the importance of proper use of mosquito nets and maintaining environmental sanitation to seek prompt medical attention.

Okoti, a representative from Ikeja Electric, highlighted the company's commitment to community engagement and safety advocacy, urging residents to remain safety-conscious during the rainy season due to increased electrical hazards.
