XEJet Partners with Uniabuja to Launch Aerospace Centre

XEJet, represented by Group Chief Executive Officer Emmanuel Iza, signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with the University of Abuja to establish an Aerospace Centre. This initiative is designed to advance aeronautical and astronautical engineering education in Nigeria and strengthen the country's position in the global aviation ecosystem.

The groundbreaking ceremony for the centre is scheduled for January 2025. The project will be executed in phases, with the first phase focusing on equipping existing aerospace laboratories at the University of Abuja to enable practical instruction.

The MoU also outlines plans for a permanent green power academy complex, fully aligned with the outcomes set by the Council for the Regulation of Engineering in Nigeria (COREN). Additionally, XEJet will offer automatic employment to the top three graduates from the program annually over ten years, subject to basic employment requirements.

The collaboration aims to enhance the quality of aerospace engineering programs and foster mutual benefits between academia and industry.
