Gombe Governor Inuwa Yahaya Praises Peaceful APC Primaries

On Saturday, Gombe State Governor Inuwa Yahaya expressed satisfaction with the peaceful conduct of the APC primaries held in Gombe State. He described the exercise as peaceful and orderly, reflecting internal democracy.

Yahaya cast his vote at the Jekadafari Nursery School, which served as a polling venue for the APC ward primaries. He noted the impressive turnout of party members and the effective management by electoral officials.

Yahaya urged party members to remain united regardless of the outcomes, stating that there should be no divisions within the APC, which he referred to as a big family. He reassured that there would be no winners or losers, emphasizing the need for cooperation to achieve the aspirations of the people of Gombe State.

The chairman of the APC electoral committee, Kabiru Musa, described the exercise as a model for free and fair elections, highlighting the orderly conduct and high voter turnout.
