Gombe House of Reps Primaries Conducted Peacefully

Governor Yahaya reported that the House of Representatives primaries in Gombe were conducted peacefully, expressing satisfaction with the impressive turnout and orderly manner in which party members exercised their voting rights. He commended the electoral management committee and party stakeholders for ensuring a transparent and credible process, providing a level playing field for all aspirants.

Yahaya emphasized the importance of unity among APC members to ensure the party's success in the forthcoming general elections. He expressed delight at the mature demonstration of party members and noted that there were no victors or vanquished in the primaries.

Alhaji Labiru Musa Kafur, the chairman of the primary election committee, also commended the state chapter of the APC for upholding democratic ideals and strengthening internal party democracy. The primaries included candidates from various constituencies, such as Hon.

Sadam Bello for Gombe Kwami and Alhaji Zakariyya Jidda for Balanga Billiri.
