Yari's Aide Denies Anti-Tinubu Protest Sponsorship Claims

Abdullahi Tsafe, the chief of staff to former Zamfara State Governor Abdulaziz Abubakar Yari, issued a statement on Friday dismissing reports that Yari is financing protests against President Bola Ahmed Tinubu's administration. Tsafe labeled the allegations as false and politically motivated, asserting that Yari has no connection to any planned protests.

He emphasized that Yari has consistently supported Tinubu's presidency and has invested significant personal resources and political capital towards it. Tsafe further noted that Tinubu has publicly acknowledged Yari's loyalty and contributions to the success of the Congress Renew Hope agenda.

He criticized the allegations as attempts to damage Yari's reputation and maintain that Yari remains committed to the success of Tinubu's administration. Tsafe urged the public to disregard the reports, describing them as malicious and unfounded, and reaffirmed Yari's dedication to constructive political engagement.
