Zamfara APC Holds 2 Million March for Tinubu's Appointment

On Wednesday, thousands of supporters of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Zamfara state participated in a massive solidarity march in Gusau, dubbed the "2 Million March." The event was organized to express gratitude to President Bola Ahmed Tinubu for appointing Senator Abdul’aziz Yari as the Director General of the APC Presidential Campaign Council. Participants from all 14 local government areas of the state donned APC colors and carried flags, banners, and placards praising both President Tinubu and Senator Yari.

The march was led by the state APC chairman, Hon. Kabiru Moyi Birnin Magaji, and Hon. Abdulmalik Zubairu, a member of the House of Representatives. The procession concluded at the Government House in Gusau, where the party leadership presented a letter of appreciation to Governor Dauda Lawal for transmission to President Tinubu.

Hon. Moyi emphasized that Yari’s appointment recognized Zamfara's contributions to the APC and the Northwest region, while Hon. Zubairu stated it would strengthen the APC in the state and the region ahead of the 2027 general elections.
