Ogun Chiefs Affirm Senator Adeola's Indigeneity in Egbaland

Traditional councils in Kemta, Ogun State, led by Chief Abayomi Rotimi, the Oluwo of Kemta, confirmed that Senator Solomon Adeola, also known as Yayi, is a legitimate indigene of Egbaland. This affirmation came during a press conference where Rotimi addressed and refuted social media claims that the Ile Ogboni of Kemta was closed due to Adeola's ties with the community.

He stated that politics should not interfere with traditional affairs and emphasized that Adeola remains a son of the community despite differing political affiliations. Rotimi challenged the claims of the Ile Ogboni being locked, inviting skeptics to visit the premises.

He also expressed concern over the use of manipulated images and artificial intelligence to spread misinformation about the traditional institution. Furthermore, Rotimi denied rumors of his suspension as Oluwo, citing his recent interactions with Oba Adedotun Gbadebo, the Alake of Egbaland, as evidence of his standing.
