ADC Candidate Gaidam Promises Governance from Damaturu

Gaidam, the ADC candidate for Yobe, stated his commitment to governing from Damaturu rather than Abuja during a press conference at the inauguration of the Unified Campaign Council and the commissioning of the party's new state secretariat. He emphasized the importance of being physically present in Yobe to ensure accessibility and leadership by example.

Gaidam highlighted his campaign's focus on youth participation, voter education, and awareness, urging young people to defend their votes and serve as polling agents. He expressed the ADC's readiness for the 2027 elections, aiming for victories across various elective positions.

Gaidam also discussed the need for state governments to effectively implement federal policies to benefit citizens, addressing economic challenges and education. He criticized corruption and economic policy shortcomings, advocating for alternative leadership.

Alhaji Adamu Maina Waziri, the state party leader, announced the formation of a 57-member Unified Campaign Council to coordinate the ADC's campaigns for the upcoming elections.
