Yobe APC Chairman Alhaji Muhammad Gadaka Re-elected

Alhaji Muhammad Gadaka has been re-elected as the chairman of the Yobe State chapter of the All Progressives Congress (APC) following a state congress held in Damaturu on Tuesday. Gadaka described the congress as peaceful and transparent, noting that there was no imposition of candidates or rancor throughout the exercise.

He commended the officials from the party's national headquarters, led by Ambassador Babagana Ajimi Muttaka Rabe, for their effective oversight, which ensured credibility and strengthened confidence among members. Gadaka disclosed that the congress committee submitted a report covering the conduct of 178 ward congresses and 17 local government congresses across the state.

He attributed the smooth conduct of the exercise to the inclusive leadership style of Yobe State Governor Mai Mala Buni. Gadaka urged party members to sustain the spirit of unity as they prepare for the party's national convention scheduled for March 2027.
