APC Elects New Officials in Kebbi State Congress

The All Progressives Congress (APC) successfully conducted its state congress in Kebbi State on Tuesday at the FIFA Stadium Goru in Birnin Kebbi. The congress was attended by Governor Nasir Idris and former Governor Atiku Bagudu, who is currently the Minister of Budget and Economic Planning.

Alhaji Abubakar Kana Zuru was elected as the new state chairman, alongside a 29-member state executive committee. The congress drew delegates from all 21 local government areas in the state and was supervised by the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC).

Notably, the congress concluded without any reports of violence or disruptions. The APC's local congress committee described the exercise as orderly and transparent.

Party members were urged to continue supporting the newly elected officials and to maintain unity ahead of upcoming elections.
