Yobe Government Gifts Vehicles and Funds to APC Chairmen

On Monday, the Yobe State government, under the leadership of Governor Mai Mala Buni, gifted brand new Honda Accord vehicles and financial assistance to 17 local government chairmen of the All Progressives Congress (APC). This initiative aims to bolster the party's grassroots structure and improve political coordination across the state.

The formal handover took place at the APC state secretariat in Damaturu, with Deputy Governor Idi Barde Gubana representing the governor. During the ceremony, Gubana emphasized that the gesture is intended to support party officials at the local government level and enhance their ability to mobilize support for the party's policies and programs.

He urged the chairmen to remain focused on strengthening the party's grassroots and warned against actions that could cause division within the APC. Additionally, Yobe APC Chairman Muhammad Gadaka commended Governor Buni for his support, highlighting the governor's commitment to strengthening the party's structure.

The governor also extended support to 37 party officials by providing Sallah cloth materials and a monetary donation of N2 million to assist with fuel for the newly distributed vehicles.
