Yobe LG Chairman Jibrin Distributes Football Kits

On Monday, Hon. Adam Jibrin, the Chairman of Yusufari Local Government Area in Yobe State, distributed football kits to various youth clubs within the council area.

This initiative is part of efforts to promote sports development and engage the youth. The distributed items included jerseys, footballs, and training bibs, aimed at supporting the sporting activities of the teams.

During the event, Jibrin emphasized the importance of sports in encouraging youth participation, promoting peaceful coexistence, and helping young people develop their talents. Beneficiary clubs included Yusufari United, Sunomari Super Star, Arewa United, Government Day Lawanti, Maimalari Ward, Kumagannam Ward, Tulo Tulo Ward, Mayori Ward, Under-17 Academy, and Yusufari Desert.

Representatives from Zamfara and Tsohon Club Duna also received kits on behalf of their teams. Jibrin assured clubs that had not yet received kits that they would be accommodated in future distributions through the council’s storekeeper, Alhaji Mele Yusufari.
