Yobe Celebrates Buni's 7th Anniversary, Endorses Wali

Yobe State marked the seventh anniversary of Governor Mai Mala Buni's administration with a ceremony that endorsed Alhaji Baba Mallam Wali as the All Progressives Congress (APC) governorship consensus candidate. The event, organized by the Office of the Special Adviser on Policy Delivery and the Yobe State Focal Person on Cybersecurity and Information Technology, took place at the Arts and Culture Auditorium in Damaturu.

It attracted a diverse crowd, including university students and women's groups. Abdullahi Bego, the Special Adviser on Policy Delivery, outlined the progress made under Buni's administration across sectors such as education, healthcare, agriculture, water supply, road construction, commerce, and youth empowerment.

He argued that electing Baba Mallam Wali as the next governor would ensure the continuation of socio-economic and infrastructural development in the state. Dr.

Koleh Shettima addressed the gathering via video link, echoing Bego's sentiments, while Dr. Musa Usman also spoke in support of the administration's record.

The event underscored the need for immediate transitions within the APC in Yobe State.
