Yohanna Mercy Wins LGAN Inaugural Golf Tournament

Yohanna Mercy emerged victorious in the inaugural Ladies Golf Association Nigeria (LGAN) tournament held on February 14 at the Goodluck Ebele Jonathan Golf Club. Competing in the ladies' handicap category of 0-28, Mercy achieved a post gross score of 93, translating to an impressive nett score of 65.

This performance secured her the title, placing her ahead of SJ Marcu, who finished with a gross score of 81 and a nett score of 67, earning the runner-up position. Justina Gideon claimed the gross title with a score of 82, while Pat Ozoemen followed with a score of 86.

In the veteran category, Udod Ugbor won the ladies' title with a nett score of 67, and Helen Mark topped the super veteran ladies' division with a nett score of 84. Lydia Anenga dominated the ladies' handicap 29-36 category with a standout nett score of 61.

On the men's side, AO Ayanbod emerged as the overall nett winner with a score of 63, while Sa Icha secured the gross men's crown with a score of 74.
