LGAN Inaugurates New Era with Abuja Kitty Event

The Ladi Golf Association Nigeria (LGAN) has announced plans to host its inaugural kitty event on February 14, 2026, in Abuja. The event is set to mark the formal beginning of the new leadership under the recently elected President for the term 2025-2027, Lami Ahm.

The kitty will take place at the Goodluck Ebel Jonathan Golf Club at the NAF Base on Airport Road, Abuja. Prior to the event, an onboard retreat for LGAN leaders and executive members is scheduled for February 13 to enhance cohesion and strategic alignment within the association.

The President of LGAN, Mr. Lami Ahm, described the inaugural kitty as a symbol of unity and growth for women's golf in Nigeria.

The event aims to lay a solid foundation for impactful leadership and sustainable development. Notable dignitaries like Andrew Yakubu and Oritsemeyiwa Eyesan are expected to grace the occasion.

Additionally, LGAN has issued a plea to Julius Berger to expedite the rehabilitation of the IBB International Golf and Country Club in Abuja ahead of hosting the Africa Challenge Trophy later in the year.
