Buratai Refuses Responsibility for Naming Terror Financiers

Lieutenant General Tukur Buratai, the former Chief of Army Staff of the Nigerian Army, asserted that he cannot be tasked with naming the financiers of terrorism in Nigeria. He highlighted that the government has chosen not to disclose these names publicly, insisting that he should not be blamed for this decision.

Buratai further noted the government's stance against rehabilitating repentant Boko Haram members, which he believes reflects the significant security challenges facing the country. He called for improvements in intelligence operations and urged the government to recruit more security agents to enhance safety within Nigeria.
