Ulasi Highlights Obi and Kwankwaso's Political Influence

Ulasi, a chieftain of the People's Democratic Party (PDP), spoke on Arise Television regarding the political influence of Peter Obi and Rabiu Kwankwaso in their region, asserting that their names cannot be disregarded. He described their collaboration as part of a broader effort to foster national unity in Nigeria ahead of the 2027 elections.

Ulasi expressed optimism that this alliance could lead to a consensus presidential candidate within the African Democratic Congress (ADC). He acknowledged the issue of power rotation between the North and South but noted that the constitution does not bind any zone.

Ulasi also commented on Atiku Abubakar's constitutional right to contest, despite not aligning with the expected zoning. He expressed confidence in Obi's chances of securing the ADC ticket, although he declined to provide a definitive answer regarding the success of the alliance ushering in a new phase of political development in Nigeria.
