Presidency Criticizes Nnamdi Kanu's Lawyer for Joining Protest Instead of Preparing Defense

The Presidency criticized Nnamdi Kanu's lawyer, Aloy Ejimakor, for joining a protest in Abuja organized in support of human rights activist Omoyele Sowore and the prolonged detention of IPOB leader Kanu. Special Adviser to the President, Bola Tinubu, slammed Ejimakor for his actions, calling them unethical and deserving of sanctions.

The Presidency accused Ejimakor of violating the principle of sub judice by participating in the protest instead of concentrating on preparing a robust defense for Kanu's ongoing treason case in court. The statement urged legal authorities to consider appropriate disciplinary action against Ejimakor.
