PDP BoT Members Reject Suspension Order, Citing Lack of Legal Authority

Members of the People's Democratic Party (PDP) Board of Trustees (BoT) have challenged a suspension order issued by Adolphus Wabara, the former chairman of the BoT. The members rejected the suspension as unconstitutional and illegal, stating that the BoT has no power to discipline, suspend, or remove its members.

They argue that the decision to suspend them is null and void, emphasizing that Wabara lacks the legal standing to convene a meeting and issue such orders. The members demand the immediate withdrawal and retraction of the suspension, asserting their rights as duly appointed BoT members.
