“Your vote is your voice” – Saraki urges young Nigerians to particiapte in ongoing voter registration

Former Senate President Abubakar Bukola Saraki has urged young Nigerians to participate in the ongoing Continuous Voter Registration (CVR) exercise, emphasizing that "your vote is your voice." Saraki highlighted the low voter turnout in the 2023 general election, with nearly 40% of registered voters aged 18-34 not casting their votes. He stressed the importance of civic engagement, stating that every vote strengthens the common voice of citizens.

Saraki called on Nigerians to mobilize their family, friends, and neighbors to register to vote ahead of the 2025 general election. He emphasized that everyone, regardless of age or location, must play a part in shaping the nation's future, with the message being a rallying call to action for increased voter participation.
