YouTube is expanding its 24/7 Stations feature beyond music to include creator content, podcasts, and additional music artists. This initiative aims to transform the viewing experience by allowing audiences to engage with an always-on stream of content rather than searching for individual videos.

Initially tested during Coachella 2026, the Stations feature acts as YouTube's version of a traditional TV channel or free ad-supported service. Viewers can select a Station for continuous streaming, fostering a more relaxed viewing experience and enabling social interaction through live chats.

This expansion is particularly beneficial for creators with extensive video libraries, as it allows their existing content to be packaged into a continuous stream, enhancing the value of their back catalogue. The feature also supports video podcasts, enabling audiences to watch episodes and clips without manual selection.
