YPP Expels House of Reps Member for Anti-Party Activities

The Young Progress Party (YPP) has confirmed the expulsion of House of Representatives member Uzokw Peter for engaging in anti-party activities and gross misconduct. The decision was reached at a national executive committee meeting in Abuja, citing violations of the party's constitution.

The YPP reaffirmed its zero-tolerance policy towards actions that undermine unity and discipline. The NEC also approved the election of several national officials to fill existing vacancies within the party structure, including the appointment of Bishop Amakiri as the national chairman.
