May Edochie Launches QM Beauty Store in Lagos

May Edochie has launched a physical QM Beauty store in Lagos, describing it as a homecoming after years of expanding her brand internationally, starting in the United Kingdom and later in Canada. During a media and content creator event on October 26, 2026, Edochie expressed the emotional significance of this milestone, stating she invested deeply in her brand's growth.

She noted that Nigeria was always part of her expansion plan, with a previous opening in an unnamed state marking the brand's initial entry into the country. The new Lagos store represents a significant presence in what she referred to as "the very heart" of the city.

Edochie faced challenges leading up to the launch, including losing a deal for a larger store space that was four times the size of the current location. Despite this setback, she maintained a positive outlook, stating, "Every disappointment is a blessing.".
