Yusuf Buhari Announces Bid for House of Reps Seat

Yusuf Buhari, son of the late President Muhammadu Buhari, has officially declared his interest in contesting for a House of Representatives seat representing the Sandamu, Daura, and Mai Adua constituencies. This announcement was made through a letter dated April 3, which was purportedly signed by him and shared with stakeholders.

The letter expressed his intent to contribute to good leadership and development for the people. His decision comes after extensive consultations with stakeholders from the All Progressives Congress (APC), who met over the weekend to discuss the political landscape in the five local government areas of Daura.

Governor Dikko Radda emphasized the importance of upholding the party's democratic processes and resisting any attempts to impose certain individuals as candidates. The APC stakeholders have vowed to ensure that the democratic process is respected in the selection of candidates for the upcoming elections.
