Zamfara APC Denies Bandit Leader Turji's Membership Card for 2027 Elections

The Zamfara State chapter of the All Progressives Congress (APC) has refuted claims that the notorious bandit leader Bello Turji acquired a party membership card for the 2027 elections. The APC dismissed the document circulating online as fake, citing poor production quality, incorrect state codes, and unrealistic registration details not existing in the party's database.

The party spokesperson, Yusuf Idris, clarified that Turji is not a registered member and highlighted that the fake card was an attempt to mislead the public and tarnish the APC's image. Idris emphasized that the party has no ties to criminal elements and is focused on supporting security efforts to restore peace in Zamfara and the North-West region.

The APC vowed to investigate the matter further and urged the public to disregard the fake document while reaffirming the strict control and supervision of its membership registration process.
