Zamfara Governor Lawal Mourns Victims of Bandit Attack

Governor Dauda Lawal of Zamfara State mourned the victims of a tragic bandit attack in Bukkuyum Local Government Area, which claimed innocent lives and left others injured. In a statement signed by his spokesman, Sulaiman Bala Idri, the governor described the night assault on the communities of Bunkasau, Yar Galma, Zarumai Ward, and Dogon Daji Adabka Ward as a heartbreaking and senseless act of violence against defenseless citizens.

He extended heartfelt condolences to the bereaved families, sharing in their pain and grief during this moment of immense loss. In response to the incident, Governor Lawal directed the immediate deployment of a high-level delegation, led by the Deputy Governor, to convey condolences, provide support to affected families, and ensure prompt medical attention for the injured.
