Shettima Welcomes Governor Lawal to APC in Zamfara

On Tuesday, in Gusau, the capital of Zamfara State, Vice President Kashim Shettima officially received Governor Dauda Lawal into the All Progressives Congress (APC). Shettima praised the unity and progress that Lawal's membership would bring to the party and the state.

He highlighted the administration of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu's commitment to ensuring safety and security across Nigeria, particularly in addressing the challenges faced by Zamfara State. Shettima noted that the APC would support Governor Lawal in tackling the state's security issues, which are not unique to Zamfara but prevalent across Nigeria.

He expressed confidence that Lawal's leadership within the APC would enhance development in the state. Additionally, Jibrin Barau, the Deputy Senate President, reaffirmed the Senate's support for Governor Lawal, emphasizing that the APC would work collaboratively to address the pressing challenges in Zamfara.
