Zamfara State Will Not Negotiate with Bandits, Says Lawal

Governor Dauda Lawal of Zamfara State declared that his administration will not engage in negotiations with bandits, emphasizing a commitment to military operations until bandits surrender and face the law. This statement was made during the inauguration of the Zamfara State Indigenous Residents Association's secretariat in Kaduna, led by Chief of Staff Mukhtar Musa.

The governor reiterated the administration's dedication to ending insecurity and collaborating with security agencies. He also highlighted the importance of community intelligence in combating insecurity and urged citizens to report suspicious activities.

During the event, Musa announced a donation of 5 million Naira from the Zamfara State Government to support the association's activities. The inauguration was described as a historic milestone for Zamfara indigenes in Kaduna, with the association distributing food items to less privileged members.

The event attracted various government officials and community leaders, reflecting unity among Zamfara indigenes.
