Zenith Bank Names Kennedy Okwudili Executive Director

Zenith Bank PLC announced the appointment of Kennedy Okwudili as Executive Director, effective May 1, 2026. This strategic move aligns with the bank's long-standing success strategy to groom leaders internally and is expected to further strengthen its executive management team.

Okwudili holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting from the University of Maiduguri, graduating in 1998 with a second-class upper division. He later obtained a Master of Business Administration (MBA) from Ahmadu Bello University, Zaria, in 2008, and a Master of Science degree in Accounting from Veritas University, Abuja, in 2021.

With 25 years of banking experience, Okwudili has built a distinguished career spanning credit, market treasury, operations, and compliance. Throughout his career, he has served in several strategic roles across various departments at Zenith Bank.

He is a fellow of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Nigeria (ICAN) and the Chartered Institute of Bankers of Nigeria (CIBN), and an associate member of the Chartered Institute of Taxation of Nigeria (CITN). Okwudili has participated in several executive education programs, including those at Lagos Business School, Harvard Business School, and Oxford University.

He currently serves as President of the Catholic Bankers Association of Nigeria and is a member of the Knights of St. John International.
