Zichis Agro-Allied Board Meeting: Palm Plantation Acquisition Planned
Zichis Agro-Allied Industries Plc has notified NGX and the public of a Board Meeting scheduled for October 23, 2026, to approve its Q3 2026 unaudited interim financial statements and consider the commencement of an acquisition process. The acquisition under consideration involves a 221-hectare palm plantation belonging to The Amandel Palm Company Limited, located at Ifon, Ondo State.
Zichis Agro-Allied Industries Plc has filed a corporate action notice dated October 22, 2026, informing the Nigerian Exchange Limited and the general public of a Board Meeting set for Friday, October 23, 2026.
The Board is scheduled to consider and approve the Company's Unaudited Interim Financial Statements for the nine-month period ended September 30, 2026, referred to as the 2026 Q3 UFS.
In addition to the financial statements, the Board will consider the commencement of an acquisition process for a 221-hectare palm plantation. The plantation belongs to The Amandel Palm Company Limited and is situated at Ifon, Ondo State.
The company also disclosed that a closed period for trading in its shares has been in effect since Thursday, October 1, 2026. This closed period will remain in force until twenty-four hours after the 2026 Q3 UFS is filed with NGX and made available to the public.
