Zimbabwe Bans Nine Categories of Goods from Trade

The Zimbabwean government has released a list of nine categories of goods that are prohibited from being imported into or exported out of the country. These items are classified as goods whose movement across borders is forbidden under any circumstances.

The prohibited categories include adult materials, flick knives, and lockable blades. Additionally, skin-lightening creams containing hydroquinone or mercury are banned due to health concerns.

Other items on the list include counterfeit or forged coins and currency, prison-made goods, and spirituous beverages containing harmful chemical products. The government also prohibits any goods deemed indecent, obscene, or likely to deprave the morals of the inhabitants, as well as any goods whose importation is expressly prohibited by legislation.
