Zimbabwe Warns Citizens Against Planned July 31 Protests

This warning follows the recent enactment of the Zimbabwe Amendment Act No. 3, which extends the presidential term. The government stated that public consultations were adhered to during the legal process of passing this amendment.

They emphasized that any conduct that threatens public safety would be acted against, aligning with constitutional orders. The government is urging citizens to pursue grievances through legal means rather than resorting to protests.
