Intelligentsia Machinery Celebrates Zulum’s Leadership at 57

Intelligentsia Machinery (IM), a body of professionals committed to good governance, congratulated Borno State Governor Prof. Babagana Umara Zulum on his 57th birthday. In a statement signed by Omoba Kenneth Aigbegbele and Comr.

Umar Farouk, IM described Zulum as an “amiable, people-oriented leader” who has significantly improved governance and development in Borno State. The organization commended Zulum for his achievements in infrastructure, institution-building, and people-centered governance since taking office.

IM highlighted his efforts to combat security challenges, including insurgency, banditry, and kidnapping, and noted his focus on rebuilding conflict-affected communities, resettling internally displaced persons (IDPs), and investing in education, healthcare, and agriculture. The statement also referenced Zulum’s recognition as the “Most Outstanding and Distinguished Governor of the Decade” by the Guild of Civil Societies and Media Executives for Equity, Justice and Transparency in Nigeria, reflecting his commitment to public service.
