Zulum Confident of APC Victory in 2027 Elections

On Tuesday, during a party congress in Maiduguri, Borno State, Governor Babagana Zulum expressed his confidence that the All Progressives Congress (APC) will secure victories in the 2027 elections across Nigeria. Zulum addressed delegates and stakeholders, highlighting the APC's dominance in Nigerian politics and its strategic positioning for future electoral success.

The congress, which saw the election of new party executives, was attended by 1,560 delegates and was held at the defunct Kashim Ibrahim College of Education. Jone Eru was elected as the chair, leading a new state executive committee that will oversee party affairs for the next four years.

Zulum congratulated the newly elected executives and assured them of the state government's support. The congress demonstrated unity within the party, with no divisions among members, and was supervised by the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC).
