The NDLEA intercepted 4,959 kilograms of Canadian Loud cannabis valued at N12.4 billion at Apapa Port, Lagos. Additionally, a businesswoman was arrested at Murtala Muhammed International Airport for concealing 7.5 kilograms of cocaine in her luggage.
A 38-year-old businesswoman, Iwebema Ogechi Peac, was arrested at Murtala Muhammed International Airport in Lagos for attempting to smuggle 7.5 kg of cocaine to China. The NDLEA also intercepted a significant cannabis shipment valued at N12.39 billion.
The NDLEA seized ₦12.3 billion worth of Canadian cannabis at Lagos port and arrested multiple suspects involved in drug trafficking, including a businesswoman at the airport with cocaine. The agency continues to dismantle drug syndicates operating in Nigeria.
