Vitel Wireless Launches in Nigeria, Offers Free Calls and SMS Services

Vitel Wireless Limited, the latest GSM operator in Nigeria, is set to officially launch on October 30, 2025, offering free calls and SMS services. The company, led by Kenneth Nwabuez, aims to redefine mobile communication technology by providing voice and data services nationwide.

Vitel plans to introduce IoT-powered devices, smart logistics solutions, AI-driven safety analytics, and other innovative services to enhance efficiency and personal security. The company has established partnerships with major operators like Glo and MTN, and it aims to strengthen public safety frameworks within the telecom space.

Additionally, its subsidiary, Lebara Group, is expected to commence services in Nigeria in the third quarter of 2025.
