Delta State Police Arrest 11 Suspected Cultists and Armed Robbers

The Delta State Police Command, under the leadership of CP Aina Adesola, conducted a successful operation resulting in the arrest of 11 suspected cultists and armed robbers across different communities in Delta State. The suspects, including Richard William, Onorod Piu, Sundai Jakpor, Victoria Ogbemudia, Raymond Arhiakpor, and Precious Wanogho, were apprehended in locations such as Ughelli, Warri, Ochuko, and Sapele.

During the operation, the police recovered weapons, incriminating items, and a locally made firearm. The suspects confessed to being members of the Suprem Vike confraternity and admitted to their involvement in criminal activities, including a specific killing in Ughelli.

The police also raided criminal hideouts in Iwhrekpokpo and Irapa, leading to additional arrests and the seizure of illicit items. CP Adesola assured the public of the command's commitment to eradicating cultism and violent crimes in the state, urging continued cooperation from residents.
